OK, maybe not trains…but automobiles aren’t the only mode of transportation that use pavement markings as a means of controlling and directing traffic. Did you know that our line striping services often include airport projects? While we don’t stripe full scale airport runways, we are equipped to handle smaller ramp and runway projects. We can also be found painting silhouettes, gate boxes, and lead-in lines for airplane parking. Our airport line striping services are not limited to outdoor work though…they extend indoors as well.
We recently completed some indoor work at a central Indiana airport hangar. The concrete floor of the hangar had been freshly coated with a new epoxy membrane. We were called in to install the floor markings for the aircraft and storage bays. Our work included installing yellow and black epoxy lead-in lines for backing those 757’s into the building. We also installed some heavy-duty floor marking tape for ~3000 feet of storage bays. And we were able to complete all of the work in just a few days!
