Otto’s Parking Marking is continually accepting applications for various positions and will keep applications on file for a limited amount of time.  Qualified applicants will be contacted by Otto’s Parking Marking as the need arises.   Please review the following employment requirements carefully:

Employment Requirements:

  • All new employees must pass a drug test upon employment.
  • All employees must pass a series of qualification examinations for machinery use and proper job completion processes.

Job mobilization allows for promotion to different responsibilities within the company to create a lasting and fulfilling career. Typically, when hired for crew work, a new employee starts as a laborer, becomes a painter, then with the opportunity for promotion to crew leader.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Shifts

Most Otto’s Parking Marking crew members work five-day shifts Monday through Friday with typical hours of 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some employees have the option of a “four on, three off” schedule, which is four complete days of work a week.Night crews usually leave the shop at 7:00 p.m. and return early the next morning.

Travel

Travel crews leave the state to work on  jobs throughout the U.S., but the majority of their time is spent in Central Indiana.

Travel Information and Requirements:

  • All employees are required to travel at least twice a year for 10-14 days per trip
  • Full-time travel crew positions also available
  • During the winter months, most travel work is in Florida
  • Company trucks are used for transportation
  • Paid drive time
  • Hotel expenses are paid by the company
  • Each person receives $30 per day for food while out of state
